MAXSET & MAXCLAW Anchors
The MAXSET refines the proven plough/delta design for fast, reliable setting; the MAXCLAW carries the North Sea claw pedigree for grip on mixed bottoms. Both come in mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless (MAXSET also in hot-dip galvanised), sized from 4 kg tenders to 40 kg cruisers — with self-launching bow rollers engineered to match.

Boat-length bands are Maxwell's published guidance. Heavy displacement, high windage or exposed cruising grounds justify one size up — an anchor one size too big is cheap insurance.
Self-launching bow rollers to match
The MAXSET bow roller is designed so MAXSET, MAXCLAW and similar anchors self-launch on deployment and pull up snug on retrieval — no rattling around under way. Every anchor weight maps to a matched roller in satin or polished stainless, with hinged, fixed, extendable and anchor-loop versions for different bow shapes, plus an extending roller that deploys the anchor clear of plumb bows.
