About the VH4.65
The Vetus VH4.65 is the entry point of the H-Line range, designed for applications requiring more power and robustness than the M-Line can provide. Delivering 65 HP at 3,000 RPM from a four-cylinder, four-stroke configuration, the VH4.65 features counter-balanced shafts that produce exceptionally low vibration and noise levels — a standout characteristic of the H-Line platform.
The engine incorporates intercooling and a dual-circuit freshwater cooling system with an integrated heat exchanger, providing reliable thermal management in demanding operating conditions. A seawater-injected exhaust bend is standard, and keel cooling is available as an option for vessels operating in waters with high sediment or weed content. The self-bleeding fuel system eliminates a common diesel frustration, and the high-output 115-amp alternator ensures rapid battery charging.
The VH4.65 achieves an extremely favourable power-to-weight ratio while maintaining very low fuel consumption. Compatible with gearbox, saildrive, and Volvo Penta saildrive adapter kits (110S, 120S, 120SB), the VH4.65 offers installation flexibility.
