BOW PRO Thrusters
The new leading edge of thruster development. Fully proportional control, maintenance-free brushless motors, 6–10 minute full-power runtimes, and digital V-CAN control that integrates with the joystick systems of Yamaha, Mercury, Yanmar, Honda and Suzuki. More than twenty models from 30 to 420 kgf, for boats from 20 to 130 feet.

Proportional control
Vary the thrust precisely instead of all-or-nothing bursts — feather the bow onto the dock instead of bouncing off it.
Up to 5× the runtime
Run continuously for 6–10 minutes at full power (versus 2–4 for a DC thruster), and far longer at reduced power — battery capacity is the only real limit.
Zero motor maintenance
Sealed brushless induction motors have no carbon brushes to wear out. Built-in heat sensing and self-regulating electronics resist misuse and overuse.
Lock-and-hold docking
Press a button to lock the thrust at any level, step away from the helm and tie up — single-handed docking, genuinely.
Joystick integration
V-CAN digital control plus the NMEA 2000-certified CANverter connect BOW PRO to Yamaha, Mercury, Yanmar, Honda and Suzuki joystick systems.
Easy upgrade path
BOW PRO shares tunnel sizes with existing VETUS thrusters and many other brands — upgrading an older boat rarely needs hull work.
BOW PRO range (BOWA)
The core BOW PRO series, in 12 V and dedicated 48 V versions — the 48 V models designed for modern electric-propulsion boats running the whole vessel at 48 V.

*Continuous running at full power, per hour; at less than full power, runtime is greatly enhanced. Thrust output is unaffected by voltage drop while operating within the set boundaries. Battery state of charge, cable size and ambient temperature affect performance — Luxfords will spec the right bank and cabling for your installation.
BOW PRO Boosted (BOWB) — the self-charging thruster
Every Boosted model has a built-in DC-to-DC three-stage smart charger. Connect a 24 V BOWB to your existing 12 V supply and it charges its own thruster bank — monitoring the source so your engine-start battery is never depleted, then boosting and regulating the input to keep the thruster bank at its optimum. It's how a 12 V boat gets 24 V thruster performance without re-wiring the ship. (48 V models boost-charge from 24 V; direct 24/48 V connection is also possible.)

Three fully proportional panels — including lock-and-hold versions that make single-handed docking dramatically easier, and a double panel that runs bow and stern thrusters together (rotate the joystick to spin the boat on its axis).
