The Vetus M3.29 steps up to a three-cylinder configuration, delivering 27 HP with notably smooth power delivery and strong low-end torque. This engine is the most popular choice in the M-Line range, offering the ideal balance of power, weight, and fuel efficiency for medium-sized cruising sailboats and light displacement powerboats.
The M3.29 features Vetus' water-cooled aluminium top cover, reducing engine room temperatures by 15–20°C — a reduction of approximately 20% compared to engines with conventional air-cooled covers. The engine achieves near-silent operation at a cruising speed of around 2200 RPM, with noise levels among the lowest in its class. HVO-approved and SOLAS certified, the M3.29 meets modern environmental and safety standards.
